Characteristic details • Double breasted: 6 visible buttons in two rows. • Wide collar and notched lapel: can be raised to protect against wind and rain. • Epaulettes (shoulder tabs): originally to attach military insignia. • Buckle belt: metal D-ring allows for size adjustment. • Cuff tabs: adjustable to keep out air and rain. • Wind flaps: • Gun flap on the right chest (protection against wind and moisture). • Storm shield on the back (rainwater drainage).
